Special session: Calibration and Characterisation of Spectroradiometers

Chair: Andreas Hueni, RSL, University of Zurich, Switzerland, ahueni@geo.uzh.ch
Co-Chair: Helge Aasen, ETH Zurich, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Switzerland, helge.aasen@usys.ethz.ch

Spectroradiometer calibration and characterisation are basic steps fundamental to quantitative remote sensing. This session brings together experts working on laboratory and field based calibration and characterisation of spectroradiometers.

We invite contributions covering imaging spectroradiometers, field spectroradiometers as well as other spectral instruments that are used in conjunction with spectroradiometric instrumentation or related theories, such as fluoresence measurements. We in particular welcome contributions that deal with sensitivity studies, uncertainty budgets and novel laboratory setups.

Keywords: Laboratory Calibration, Field Calibration, Instrument Characterisation
